Cape Cod National Seashore – Massachusetts

Beaches are truly a gift to mankind. People that reside in the coastal areas are lucky enough to have a glimpse of the beautiful scene it portrays time and time again whereas others have to do a lot of planning. Again, getting to a beach wouldn’t be that difficult, but getting to a beach that has a significant history to it would always be challenging.

When you decide to travel to Massachusetts, you simply cannot get your eyes off Massachusetts Coast stretching beautifully for 40 miles to Provincetown from Chatham. Going back to 1900s, this area was primarily a private land, and it was Kennedy clan’s favorite spot that used to spend their summertime on the coast. When Kennedy made his way to the Senates, he did sponsor legislation and made the place a protected area, national park. When he became the President in 1961, he did establish Cape Cod National Seashore and made it USA’s first oceanfront park.

At the present time, there are 4 million travelers visiting the area yearly and enjoying the pristine lighthouses, waterways, cranberry bogs, biking trails and swimming beaches. You could head to Cape Cod National Seashore from Boston, a 2-hour drive.
