There are numerous ways to reach St Barts. All ways require air or boat travel and sometimes both. There are many commercial and charter flights that reach the island. Also, abundant in number are private aircraft and ferry services from St Martin. There are also many private yachts. St Barts is different from most Caribbean destinations. Nearly half of the available beds are privately owned cottages, villas, and apartments. Majority of villas are rented by the owner.
