La Sagrada Familia
La Sagrada Familia is a magnificent temple designed by master architect Antonio Gaudi. Gaudi worked on it until his death in 1926, after his death, construction is still going on according to the plans he left. Construction will not be completed for an indefinite period, the time people say will take for completion ranges from 30 to 80 years.
L’Aquarium de Barcelona
The biggest and most impressive sea life aquarium in Europe, L’Aquarium de Barcelona is located in Barcelona’s Port Vell. It contains 21 glass tanks flanking a wide corridor. Each tank contains a distinct marine habitat, and contains a large number of colored fish, corals, worms and sharks. There is a huge glass roofed, glass side tunnel Oceanarium that showcases the self sustaining ecosystem of the Mediterranean Sea. There is also the Explora section for children.
Poble Espanyol de Montjuic
The Poble espanyol de Montjuic is a small Spanish village. There are different buildings that are reproductions of traditional houses from different Spanish regions.
Pole espanyol de Montjuic also has a whole range of shops selling handicraft and traditionally made Spanish goods.
The brilliant Flamenco show which is held at tableo de Carmen is another highlight of Poble Espanyol.
La Pedrera – Casa Mila
Another creation by Antonio Gaudi, this is a notable work of architecture.
Barcelona Football Club Museum
This is a paradise for football fans, and excellent tours of both the Museum and the various components of the stadium are offered.
